Purpose of the Position
The
Design and Production Assistant
is a key position within
Manu Atelier
, responsible for ensuring coordination between the design team and the production department throughout the collection development process. This role brings together both creative and technical aspects, ensuring that every stage — from design to sampling, production planning, quality control, and delivery — is completed on time, accurately, and in line with the brand’s quality standards.
Main Responsibilities

Actively participate in the
seasonal collection development
process, from concept to final product.

Develop new product ideas and propose creative, functional, and material-based innovations.

Conduct
trend and market research
, prepare
moodboards, color palettes
, and
material libraries
to support the design process.

Create and update
technical drawings, specifications, and tech packs
using CAD or Illustrator.

Coordinate with the pattern-making and production teams during
prototype and sample
stages, including Proto, Fitting, and Pre-Production (PP) samples.

Review samples according to design and production standards, document feedback, and track revisions.

Support
production planning
by monitoring schedules, coordinating with manufacturers and suppliers, and ensuring workflow continuity.

Manage and follow up on
material orders, deliveries, and inventory
, maintaining accurate production and stock records.

Participate in
quality control
processes, ensuring consistency in craftsmanship, material, and form according to approved samples.

Assist in
showroom preparations, photoshoots, and collection presentations
, ensuring all samples and documentation are ready and organized.
Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in
Fashion Design, Product Design, or Industrial Design
(experience in
leather goods or accessories
is an advantage).

(from sketch to pattern to manufacturing)
