Design & Project Coordinator - Lancaster PA Area (On-site, local candidates only)

Job Summary
PPA Realty Group is seeking a Design & Project Coordinator to support our millwork, construction, and real estate divisions. This is not a traditional design role—you will be directly involved in how projects are scoped, built, and delivered. This is an on-site position based in Leola, PA. Applicants must be local.

This is a hands-on role focused on reviewing drawings, developing project scope, and supporting bidding and estimating efforts, while helping move millwork projects through fabrication and installation and supporting construction and real estate projects through build-out and completion.

While rooted in millwork and cabinet fabrication, this role also supports construction projects and real estate improvements across our portfolio—offering involvement in the full lifecycle of a project from concept and space planning through build-out and completion. Projects include commercial millwork installations, tenant build-outs, and improvements across an active real estate portfolio.

In this role, you will use CAD to prepare shop drawings and layouts, assist with project bidding and scope development, and coordinate material ordering while working closely with the shop and field teams to keep projects on schedule through fabrication and installation. Day-to-day, this may include guiding projects from drawings and bidding through fabrication and installation, as well as working with prospective tenants to plan how spaces can be built out to meet their needs.

This position is ideal for someone with a background in design, or construction who wants to be involved in how projects are actually built. Open to both recent graduates and candidates with experience.

  • Review drawings and develop scope for bidding and project execution
  • Prepare shop drawings and layouts using AutoCAD
  • Perform material takeoffs and coordinate ordering of materials and hardware

  • Support project coordination including documentation, budgeting, and communication across teams

Experience and Qualifications

  • Degree in Interior Design, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Interest in construction, millwork, and real estate development
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with vendors, field teams, and clients
