RLX Design is seeking a sales-driven, client-focused Design Sales Specialist to serve as the front line of our studio experience. This role is responsible for converting walk-ins, in-store appointments, and daily inbound inquiries (phone and email) into sales while delivering a high-touch, design-forward client experience.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as the first point of contact for all studio clients—engaging walk-ins, appointments, and inbound leads
• Actively qualify, guide, and convert clients into closed sales
• Own the full sales process from initial consultation through order completion and follow-up
• Lead in-store consultations, balancing design guidance with a strong sales focus
• Conduct in-home consultations as needed to advance and close sales opportunities
• Maintain consistent client outreach and follow-up to drive repeat business
• Partner with marketing to convert campaign-driven leads into appointments and sales
• Maintain a polished, organized studio environment that supports the selling experience

What You Bring

• 1–3 years of customer service and retail sales experience (specialty retail / interior design preferred, but not required)
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals and close deals
• Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills
• A self-motivated, results-driven mindset
• Interest in design, furniture, or interiors (preferred)
• Comfortable using CRM systems, POS platforms, and digital tools for client communication, order management, and follow-up
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to lift and move items up to 45 lbs. as needed

Hours of Operation

Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Compensation

• $20–$25/hour + commission opportunity
• Additional earning potential based on individual sales performance
