Senior Steel Design Engineer is required for a design office in Alexandria Egypt.

Job Summary:

Senior Designer shall design, analysis, modeling any type of steel structures, connections, extract needed data from various types of codes and design reports for all steel parts as per client specification and international codes. Reporting to Engineering Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

Study Issued for construction drawings (IFC) provided by client

establish design model to analyze/design steel elements and steel-steel connections and steel-concrete connections.

Prepare any request for information (RFI) email whenever required and send it to design group leader. Clean the exported drawings by editing the presentation and send them to design group leader to be checked.

Job Requirements:

2-5 years Bachelor's Degree Engineering/Civil/Structural

Thorough knowledge of Steel structural design, codes & standards, and references

Knowledge of design calculation and drawing process, checking process, correcting process, and revising process in steel structural design.

Fully conversant with computer software and equipment applicable for structural analysis and design

Skills:

Robot Structural analysis.

MBS software.

Effective communication and computer proficiency.

Technical abilities & Familiarity with reading plans and drawings.

Excellent time management.
