Designer

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and creative Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in design and drafting, with proficiency in various software applications. This role involves collaborating with engineers and project managers to create innovative designs that meet client specifications and industry standards. The Designer will be responsible for producing high-quality schematics, 2D animations, and detailed drawings that facilitate the construction process.

Duties

• Develop and produce detailed designs using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
• Create 2D animations to visually represent design concepts.
• Collaborate with project teams to understand design requirements and specifications.
• Prepare schematics and drafting documents for mechanical design projects.
• Utilize Civil 3D and MicroStation for civil engineering projects as needed.
• Conduct revisions based on feedback from engineers and clients to ensure design accuracy.
• Maintain organized documentation of all design work for future reference.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in design technology.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in design software including SketchUp, NavisWorks, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and SolidWorks.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and construction processes.
• Experience in drafting and creating schematics for various projects.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and accuracy in all designs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to develop innovative solutions.

Pay: From $17.85 per hour
