Key Responsibilities

Analyze competitor products within similar price points and identify opportunities for differentiation.

Study design trends, consumer behavior, packaging formats, and market gaps.

Generate insights to guide product and packaging direction.

Convert research insights into innovative concepts, ergonomic product designs, and impactful packaging solutions.

Develop sketches, 3D models, and prototypes for both product and packaging.

Collaborate with R&D, Marketing, Packaging, and Manufacturing teams to ensure feasibility, cost alignment, and brand consistency.

Work with suppliers and manufacturing teams to finalize product and packaging designs.
-
Optimize materials, finishes, color ways, and packaging structures for market appeal.
-
Support marketing teams with packaging artwork, mock-ups, and launch collaterals.
-
Monitor product and packaging performance post-launch through feedback and sales insights.
-
Conduct retail visits and user testing to capture real-world responses.
Implement improvements or variants based on consumer and market reactions.
Skills
Strong understanding of design principles (typography, colour theory, layout, composition); expertise in Illustrator, Photoshop, and related design tools; ability to create 3D product/packaging mock-ups; solid knowledge of packaging design (structure, materials, artwork); strong market research capability; creative, iterative, user-centric design approach.
