Overview

Marks is seeking a highly driven Designer to join the brand experience team. As Designer, you will contribute to design exploration and production for a range of deliverables including campaign design, environmental design, brand design, guidelines and playbooks, social content, and more. Candidate needs a strong understanding of typography and layout, the ability to clearly communicate design approach and creative problem solving. Our agency environment is fast-paced and requires someone who is flexible, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with multiple co-workers, teams, vendors, and management.

Responsibilities

  • Work under the guidance of the Creative Director and other creative leadership
  • Ensure alignment of the work with creative brief and timelines
  • Collaborate with fellow designers, copywriters, animators, etc.
  • Ideate visual centers (visual identities)
  • Provide rationales for design choices and approaches
  • Work on production and documentation of design systems
  • Iterate design work based on direction and feedback from the Creative Director
  • Prioritize work for timely delivery of projects
  • Stay current on industry trends
  • Understand and leverage cultural moments
  • Occasional travel
  • Contribute to office culture
  • Do amazing work!

Qualifications

  • BFA in Graphic Design or related field
  • 0-3 years of experience (agency or in-house)
  • Strong online portfolio that demonstrates graphic design, typography, storytelling, attention to detail, and personality.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strategic mindset
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Expertise in Mac, Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $67,200 - $77,200 USD annually. Ultimately, in determining pay, we will consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
