Designer

Exante360, Inc., is looking for a Designer of Enterprise Security Systems that wants to join us on our bold initiative of “improving lives through relations, by connecting people to solutions.”

Role

We’re seeking a highly skilled Designer of Enterprise Security Systems to join our team. In this remote role, you’ll focus on mission-critical environments such as large-scale data centers, leading the design of advanced physical security systems and collaborating internally with senior consultants, designers, and BIM staff to deliver high-impact solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead design of video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, and physical security systems (including gates, fencing, barriers) for enterprise-scale data center environments.
• Architect solutions using platforms like Milestone and Lenel; integrate Perimeter Intrusion Detection Systems (PIDS) including FLIR thermal technologies, ground radar, and fence-detection solutions such as Southwest Microwave.
• Develop Division 28 specifications, apply rigorous quality control to align specifications and drawing packages.
• Prepare construction-ready documentation in Revit—including annotated floor plans, mounting details, single-line diagrams, device schedules, and specification packages.
• Support the full project lifecycle: design development, basis of design narratives, site visits, submittal/RFI review, construction administration, and project close-out.
• Collaborate closely with subject matter experts, project managers, BIM staff, architects, contractors, and clients to deliver coordinated security technology packages.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to continuous improvement of technical workflows and team capability.
• Stay current with emerging security technologies and industry best practices; participate in ongoing professional education and training.

What We’re Looking For

• Deep technical experience designing enterprise security systems, especially in data-center or other mission-critical environments.
• Proven hands-on experience with Milestone, Lenel or similar platforms and strong knowledge of PIDS technologies (e.g., FLIR, ground radar, Southwest Microwave).
• Proficiency in Revit required; familiarity with AutoCAD and Navisworks is a plus.
• A strong foundation in construction documentation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and delivering from concept through completion.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the project team.
