Job Summary

Duties

  • Develop detailed 2D and 3D designs using software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and SolidWorks to meet project specifications.
  • Create comprehensive schematics and technical drawings for construction, manufacturing, or civil engineering projects.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to refine design concepts and ensure feasibility.
  • Prepare accurate drafting documents and CAD files that adhere to industry standards and project requirements.
  • Utilize NavisWorks for clash detection and coordination of complex building or infrastructure models.
  • Assist in the development of construction documentation, including plans, sections, elevations, and details.
  • Support the integration of mechanical design elements and 2D animation to enhance project presentations.
  • Conduct design reviews and revisions based on feedback to optimize functionality and aesthetics.
  • Maintain organized records of all design files, revisions, and project documentation for seamless collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, or SolidWorks is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and drafting standards.
  • Familiarity with SketchUp for conceptual modeling and NavisWorks for project coordination.
  • Experience creating schematics, technical drawings, and construction documents.
  • Ability to interpret engineering plans and translate them into detailed designs.
  • Knowledge of construction processes and materials is highly desirable.
  • Skilled in 2D animation techniques to produce engaging visual presentations.
  • Excellent attention to detail combined with strong communication skills.

Pay: $66,570.33 - $80,170.72 per year
