Job Summary:
We are seeking a part-time Design Assistant to join our team in Ohio. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for aesthetics, attention to detail, and experience in the apparel industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting Creative Director in sample coordination, shipping to vendors and wholesale customers
  • Collaborate with the team to develop design concepts
  • Maintain Fabric library and showroom organization
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and tools
  • Open to travel for trade shows and/or customer meetings is a plus

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, or related field (or equivalent experience) with Fashion/ Apparel experience
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Strong understanding of fabrics
  • Excellent communication and time-management skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Technical apparel skills; can review POM given with factory measurements and record tolerance variations
