Create functional and aesthetic 3D renderings, elevations, and design specifications that meet/exceed homeowner expectations to achieve high levels of client satisfaction. Assist homeowner in material selection and project specifications that both meet the homeowner’s budget and production timelines. Project specifications to have all details needed to communicate clearly and accurately with the production team to ensure an efficient and profitable projects.
Tasks:
- Interior Designs
- Build Rapport/Confidence with Clients, Gather Information about Look/Function Preferences
- Use Information Gathered to Create Functional Plan based on Client Needs/Wants
- Create 3D Renderings for Homeowner and Team Reference
- SOP Note: Upload to JT within 24 Hours of Design Meeting; Note: Artistic Representation; Tag w/ “Customer” tag and Notify Homeowner they are uploaded; If Final, tag with “Final” tag and “Subcontractor” tag
- Create Project Elevations for Placement of Windows, Cabinetry, Hardware, Built-ins, Lighting, and Any Other Project Specific Information that will require detailed production/installation
- SOP Note: Upload to JT within 24 Hours of Design Meeting; Tag w/ “Customer” tag and Notify Homeowner they are uploaded; If Final, tag with “Final” tag; Plans should have all necessary widths, heights, and depths for complete production
- Communicate with Production Assistant for Tile Takeoffs, Cabinetry Quote Requests, and Countertop Quote Requests
- Pre-Select Fixtures/Selections for Clients to Review in Showroom or Digitally Between Meetings
- Review Quotes/Designs from 3rd Parties for Accuracy (This applies to only design materials – including but not limited to: cabinetry, countertops, flooring, etc.); Confirm Dimensions & Placement of Fixed Size Objects like Walls, Windows, and Appliances
- Identify Key Home Details (Including but not limited to: Switch/Outlet Style & Color, Trim Style, Color, and Size, Interior Door Style & Color, Wall Color Palate (Or HO Preference), Key Design Measurements for Fixture Placement [Distance Between Wall and Toilet, Size of Windows, Etc. – Anything Needed for Accurate Design])
- Create Design Meeting Notes with Detailed Outline of Decision Making Needs from PDA to Contract (Consult with Homeowner if they have a preference on where they would like to start)
- Share Ferguson Cart with Homeowner
- Update Cart after each design meeting (within 24 hours); Update Budget with Selection after Each Meeting
- Order Finish Materials (Including but not limited to: Cabinetry, Countertop, Tile, Plumbing Fixtures, Lighting Fixtures, Hardware, Flooring, Specialties, etc.)
- Update Project Schedule in JT with Material Delivery Times/Dates
- Answer Carpenter Questions About Designs During Production as Needed
- Input Spec Sheets and Photos into JobTread for all Finish Materials/Designs
- Create Comprehensive Job Binders for All Projects Prior to Start of Production
- Purchase Client Gifts, Provide Admin List of Projects Ready for Photo Sessions & Gift Handoff, Create Warranty Packets – Communicate with Homeowner & Admin on Providing Review
- Communicate with Homeowner on Design Standards/Questions During Production as Needed
- Order Samples at Homeowner Request or as Needed to Keep Showroom Materials Up to Date
- Print Plans/Specs for LFG and Carpenter Review
- To be given to Carpenters at least 1 day prior to LFG meeting so they can prepare

Organize Material Returns for Finish Materials (Anything Design Orders + Anything Production Asks Design to Return) Including but not limited to: Ferguson, Lamps + & Lighting, Amazon, etc.
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
