Job Summary

The Senior Designer/Art Director is part of an in-house creative team and is responsible for developing innovative and strategically driven concepts, translating them into finished creative products. Using proven talent and consistent conceptual thinking, this role must communicate the brand message in a fresh, memorable, and persuasive way.

Responsibilities

• Partner with a copywriter and conceive/execute social media content across multiple channels, consistent with brand guidelines.
• Develop and guide creative ideas based on input from project managers, the in-house creative team, and personal research.
• Collaborate with brand and channel project managers, production, and studio teams to meet project objectives, schedules, and deadlines.
• Monitor all materials through pre-production and production stages.
• Efficiently manage multiple projects and report status to senior creative leadership.
• Compose and digitally capture product and concepts both in-house and on location.
• Stay current on industry trends to bring new ideas to the team.
• Present creative ideas to team members and leadership for review and approval.

Requirements

• 4–6+ years of related experience (in-house or agency).
• Strong background in social media, fashion/retail, photography, and styling.
• BFA or design degree required.
• Solid understanding of graphic design, illustration, typography, animation, and social media platforms.
• Proven design talent with strong social media and digital execution skills.
• Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop—including GIF building, Illustrator) and animation tools such as After Effects.
