Designer & Brand Specialist
Artisan Remodeling & Design — Fort Collins, CO Full-time · $75,000–$85,000/year (after 90-day trial period) Hybrid design/content role — luxury residential design-build
About Us
Artisan Remodeling & Design is a high-end design-build remodeling company serving Fort Collins and Northern Colorado. For nearly 15 years, we've built our reputation on thoughtful design, exceptional craftsmanship, and an elevated client experience grounded in clarity, warmth, and integrity.
We are seeking a Designer & Brand Specialist who is equal parts creative, organized, confident, and deeply intuitive about design. This is a hybrid role that blends cabinet-focused design support with brand storytelling—bringing our projects to life both in the design studio and across our digital platforms.
If you're someone who loves creating beautiful spaces and documenting the process with compelling, clean, on-brand visuals, this role was built for you.
What You’ll DoDesign Support & Client Experience
You’ll work hands-on with our team and clients throughout the design phase:
- Gather design surveys, inspiration images, and client preferences
- Attend measure meetings, capturing precise photos, dimensions, and site conditions
- Create cabinet layouts using 2020 Design (required) — including elevations, storage logic, and appliance placement (if no 2020 experience, we can train right person)
- Build mood boards, color/material palettes, and presentation boards
- Support development of renderings and full client Design Packets
- Prepare samples and documentation for cabinetry, countertops, tile, lighting, plumbing, and hardware
- Update all selections, links, pricing, and decisions in BuilderTrend
- Ensure client design files remain organized, complete, and presentation-ready
You play a central role in helping clients feel guided, supported, and inspired at every step.
Brand, Social Media & Content Creation (10+ hours/week — non-negotiable)
This is not “extra” work — it is a core part of the job.
Field Content Capture
- Visit active jobsites weekly (design and construction stages)
- Film and photograph progress, walk-throughs, material selections, behind-the-scenes moments, and genuine interactions with clients and the team
- Capture content that goes far beyond documentation — you’ll be telling the story of each project, highlighting the emotion, intention, and thoughtfulness behind the work
- Step in front of the camera when needed to explain design choices, walk viewers through a space, or articulate the “why” behind a project
- Focus on moments that help people feel connected to who we are: client reactions, design discoveries, craft details, problem-solving conversations, and the small human moments that reflect our values
- Create footage that feels authentic, warm, and grounded — the kind of storytelling that makes viewers feel like they personally know the team shaping their home
Editing & Storytelling
- Edit content into clean, emotionally engaging reels and stories that reflect our brand’s warmth, professionalism, and heart
- Develop sequences that clearly communicate the “why” behind the design…how choices support a client’s lifestyle, how craftsmanship elevates daily living, and how each transformation improves the experience of home. We want connection.
- Use simple, on-brand captions and overlays that enhance storytelling (never salesy, never gimmicky)
- Maintain organized content folders for long-term use in our website, GBP, social channels, and portfolio
Posting & Scheduling
- Plan and schedule content for Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and Google Business Profile
- Follow a consistent weekly posting rhythm on brand
- Track engagement and refine content strategy
If you naturally see stories in the everyday details of design and construction, this is where you’ll shine.
