Designer for interior signs

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Interior Sign Designer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and executing visually compelling interior signage solutions that enhance brand identity and improve wayfinding within various commercial spaces. Your expertise will help create engaging environments that communicate effectively and elevate the overall aesthetic experience. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients, architects, and project teams to understand design requirements and space specifications for interior signage projects.
• Develop detailed design concepts using software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino 3D, and Adobe Creative Suite to produce accurate renderings and technical drawings.
• Create comprehensive construction documents, including drafting layouts, specifications, and material selections utilizing Bluebeam and CAD tools.
• Select appropriate materials, finishes, lighting elements, and color schemes based on color theory principles to ensure visual harmony and brand consistency.
• Manage multiple projects from concept through installation, coordinating with vendors, contractors, and fabricators to ensure timely delivery and quality standards are met.
• Conduct site visits for installation oversight, quality control checks, and troubleshooting during the construction or remodeling phases.
• Prepare budgets, proposals, and contracts related to signage projects while maintaining clear communication with clients about scope and costs.

Skills

• Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino 3D (3ds Max), Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator & InDesign), Bluebeam Revu for drafting and visualization.
• Strong understanding of interior design principles including space planning, lighting design/sales, color theory, and remodeling processes.
• Experience in project management—organizing timelines, coordinating teams, managing budgets—and ensuring project milestones are achieved efficiently.
• Knowledge of construction practices related to signage fabrication and installation; familiarity with contracts is a plus.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications accurately; skilled in drafting detailed plans for fabrication.
• Excellent communication skills for client presentations and team collaboration; ability to articulate design concepts clearly.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $62,059.36 per year
