Use if Designer: In this role, you will be using your skills and expertise to develop designs, technical drawings, and models. These cover a very wide range, from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems through highly integrated aircraft to orbital and space exploration systems. You'll create and review layouts, drawings, and models for clarity, completeness, dimensional accuracy, and conformity to design/drafting standards and specifications. You'll identify design errors, omissions, and other deficiencies, and recommend revisions and/or improvements in designs. You will work closely with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that designs meet specifications and are cost effective. Use if Software Developer: In this role, you will use your skills and expertise to develop highly complex software solutions within an Agile team. These solutions range from advanced back-end development to front-end development for software that interfaces with hardware and 3rd party software ranging from avionics interfaces to EO/IR sensors to radio communications to graphical user interfaces that operators use to control dozens of pieces of hardware and ingest important information to complete tasks. You will complete software development with teams ranging from 3 to 10 individuals and will participate in full stack development and full lifecycle development.

The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains – air, land, sea, space and cyber.
Qualifications You Must Have:

Associates degree in Design, Drafting or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in experience in design or drafting within the aerospace and defense industry.

Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.

Understanding of engineering principles and practices

Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development team

Experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools

Experience with technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manual and/or publications

Basic knowledge of industry standard design principles, to include, but not limited to parametric design, model-based definition, material hardware and/or electrical component selection, fabrication, manufacturing, and production processes
Qualifications We Prefer:

Background in the Aerospace & Defense Industry

Basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles

Exposure to Documentation Control Database and/or Materials Resource Planning (MRP) system
