Designer II Civil/Structural

Zachry Engineering Corporation, (ZEC) is currently looking for a talented and self-motivated Designer II Civil/ Structural to join our Omaha, Nebraska Design Center . The role will involve the application of general design practices on steel and concrete structures utilizing CADD for creation of models and design drawings. The ideal candidate will bring a strong civil/structural design expertise, sound multidisciplinary judgment, and the ability to deliver technically robust solutions across multiple complex projects.

• Associate degree in Drafting/Design/Engineering Technology or equivalent job-related experience (2 years job related experience equivalent to 1 year college).

• Must have 7 plus years of professional experience in engineering drafting and design.

• Experience with AutoCAD and Autodesk Structural packages is essential; AVEVA (E3D or PDMS) software is preferred.

• Knowledge of Navisworks, Bluebeam Revu, and the Microsoft Office suite.

• Demonstrated technical knowledge of civil/structural design practices.

• Experience with AWP (Advanced Work Packaging) is a plus.

• Ability to work independently and interface with other disciplines.

• Experience with AVEVA (E3D or PDMS) software is preferred.

• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
