Designer - Interior Design

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for an experienced lead designer with 3+ years of experience to join the Weeth Home team. Our ideal team member will have deep knowledge of construction, space planning, furnishings, as well as experience managing budgets, new build and renovation milestones, and client communication. We will need a designer who is comfortable spending time in the field, ensuring trades our executing our vision. Our lead designer will also share our love for thoughtful, layered design inspired by our coastal roots. Most importantly, we are seeking a positive, detail-oriented, and energetic leader who thrives in a fast-paced and creative environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The lead designer will drive the creation of residential design plans from start to finish. In working closely alongside the Principal Designer, this role will , compose mood boards and floor plans, develop a design scheme and material selections, create interior elevations in AutoCAD or Chief Architect, manage budgets, present to clients, partner closely with trades and contractors in the field for precise execution, and drive the final install for furnishings and soft finishes. LOCATION

This is a full-time position based out of our Studio in downtown Rehoboth Beach. This designer will work in-person from the Rehoboth studio or surrounding job sites at least 4 days per week, with the option for some remote work days if desired.

COMPENSATION

This is a full-time, salaried position with a benefits package. Compensation will depend on experience.
