Designer Intern

Requirements:

Currently pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Design or closely-related field.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with Project Designers and Director of Business Development with large interior design projects
• Support senior level staff in conceptualizing, developing, and documenting varying aspects of design projects
• Sketch preliminary design plans.
• Compose new product displays and assist in keeping all product samples up to date
• Order architecture/interior samples
• Assist in project filing and archiving
• Contact and coordinate to obtain updated product information and project status with vendors and suppliers

Skills and Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Design concepts and industry trends
• Highly creative, imaginative, artistic, and able to communicate an artistic vison and bring it to life
• Desire to learn more about Design.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and executive tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Advanced oral and written communication skills
• Detail oriented and highly organized
