About Wallquest
Wallquest is a family owned wallpaper manufacturer and designer with a long history of creating residential and commercial wallcoverings for global markets. Our collections span a broad range of styles, substrates, and printing methods including digital, gravure, rotary screen, and commercial wallcoverings.
In addition to developing our own collections, we work with leading wallcovering brands and customers worldwide, supporting design development, color work, custom projects, and manufacturing.
We are looking for a Designer / Junior Designer to join our creative team. Opportunity to learn all aspects of wallpaper development from concept and design through color, production, printing and launch.
This role is open to both junior and experienced designers. Historically, we have had great success developing young talent internally and teaching the Wallquest approach to design, production, and workflow. However, we also welcome experienced applicants who enjoy a varied, hands on environment and working as part of a collaborative team.
About the Role
This is not a traditional studio role with fixed responsibilities. At Wallquest we are all multitaskers. As a family owned business, everyone supports where needed and projects can move quickly from one direction to another.
One day you may be balancing a repeat and preparing color separations. The next you may be supporting a custom hospitality project, coordinating strike offs, helping customers, or developing new collections.
No two weeks are the same.
The successful candidate should enjoy collaboration, be open to creative feedback, and work closely with the Design Managers throughout the development process. Designs evolve continually and the ability to adapt, refine ideas, and move projects forward positively is important within our team environment.
