Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Designer / Logistics / Sales professional to join our innovative team. This role combines creative design expertise with comprehensive logistics management and proactive sales engagement. You will be instrumental in developing compelling product or project designs, managing end-to-end supply chain operations, and driving B2B sales initiatives. Your energetic approach and detail-oriented mindset will ensure seamless coordination across departments, fostering strong customer relationships and optimizing transportation solutions. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop innovative design concepts aligned with project specifications and brand standards
  • Manage supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory control, and logistics planning to ensure timely delivery of products or services
  • Coordinate transportation management activities utilizing Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) platforms for efficient freight movement
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through effective account management, inside sales, and CRM software utilization
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements with carriers, 3PL providers, NVOCCs (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carriers), and other logistics partners
  • Oversee dispatching, freight scheduling, and transportation planning to optimize routes and reduce costs while meeting customer deadlines
  • Lead lead generation efforts through targeted outreach, data entry, and follow-up strategies to expand business opportunities in logistics sales and transportation sales sectors

Skills

  • Extensive knowledge of supply chain management principles and transportation management systems (TMS)
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, logistics sales, carrier sales, and freight negotiations
  • Strong understanding of logistics operations including dispatching, freight forwarding, 3PL services, NVOCC operations, and FDA regulations where applicable
  • Proficiency in CRM software (Customer Relationship Management), EDI systems, AS400 platforms, and data entry accuracy
  • Excellent negotiation skills coupled with the ability to build lasting customer relationships through effective account management
  • Familiarity with transportation planning tools, pricing strategies, contract development, and inside sales techniques
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
