Designer & Project Assistant

About Us: We are a fast-paced luggage and travelware company based in Chino, CA, preparing for major industry trade shows. We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented designer to work directly with our project lead on a time-sensitive design project.

The Role: This is a hands-on "follow-up person" role. You will work closely alongside our project lead in our Chino office. Your primary responsibility is to execute design concepts (for luggage, hangtags, catalogs) accurately and quickly. This role is 90% execution and 10% creative input. You must be excellent at following specific directions.

Responsibilities:

• Translate verbal and written concepts into professional design mockups using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Modify and revise existing designs based on precise, direct feedback.
• Assist with project follow-up, such as preparing design files for overseas production.
• Create presentation materials and e-catalogs for buyer presentations.
• Must be able to work in our Chino office during the project.

Requirements:

• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating digital design skills (product mockups, layout, etc.).
• Crucial: Must be able to take direct feedback and "must follow my direction" precisely.
• Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure for a tight deadline.
• Students (Upper-division) and recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Job Types: Temporary, Temp-to-hire, Internship

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
