Designer - Residential

Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in design software and a passion for creating innovative solutions. As a Designer, you will be responsible for developing concepts and designs that meet client needs while adhering to project specifications and timelines. This role requires collaboration with various teams to ensure the successful execution of projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and draft design concepts using software such as SolidWorks, Revit, and 3ds Max.
• Create detailed drawings and models to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to refine designs and ensure feasibility.
• Utilize graphic design skills to enhance presentations and project proposals.
• Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project requirements.
• Maintain organized records of design iterations and project documentation using tools like Bluebeam and MicroStation.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into designs.
• Assist in the preparation of project specifications and technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in design software including SolidWorks, Revit, 3ds Max, Rhinoceros 3D, MicroStation, ArchiCAD, and Bluebeam is preferred.
• Strong graphic design skills with an eye for aesthetics and detail.
• Experience in interior design or related fields is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively present ideas and collaborate with team members.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• A degree in Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred but not required based on experience.
• A portfolio showcasing previous design work is highly desirable.
