Designer Sales Consultant

Job Overview
We are in search of a remarkable designer/salesperson with a passion for interior organization, unique space planning, and out-of-the-box thinking, as well as expertise in various cabinet projects common to our clientele, including residential customers, builders, and remodelers. An organized approach to multitasking is a prerequisite for this role, as we maintain a culture of striving for excellence with meticulous attention to detail.

The ideal candidate will possess a repertoire of skills, including field measuring, proficiency in the cabinet ordering processes, adept contract closing abilities, and a talent for networking new business and maintaining lasting customer relationships through exceptional long-term service. This position calls for an individual who embodies a perfect balance of left and right-brained qualities–a fusion of creative flair and organizational prowess fueled by an entrepreneurial spirit. Responsibilities

  • Generate and follow-up on sales leads, company provided leads are available
  • Utilize company provided design software to create custom organizational solutions based on client needs and company standards
  • Measure each project space to company specifications
  • Communicate effectively with the clients, sales team, and install team
  • Willing to learn and implement new sales techniques and design best practices
  • Develop long-term relationships with clients, contractors, designers, etc.
  • Effective networking skills (trade associations, charitable organizations, etc.)
  • Provide a high level of customer service from initial customer contact until the completion of the project
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in closet sales, interior design, residential sales, space planning, or other design-related field
  • Strong work ethic and respect for others
  • Reliable work history and attendance record
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Pay: $25,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
