Designer - Sales Professional (Residential Flooring)

Macco's Floor Covering Center is looking to hire a Designer - Sales Professional. What we are looking for in a candidate is someone who is a motivated by sales and has knowledge of or is willing to learn the flooring industry.

The Designer - Sales Professional role requires interacting, assisting, and determining customers’ individual needs by recommending design ideas and products that will meet customer preferences, purpose, function, and budget.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

· Attention to accuracy, detail, and completeness.

· Must be driven, self-directed, and resourceful.

· Professionalism, to include dependability, accountability, and punctuality.

· Time management skills to meet deadlines and deliverables.

· Must have open and flexible work availability to include Saturdays.

· Creative talent and an eye for design.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or other business software applications.

Education and Experience:

· Associate degree in interior design preferred but not required.

· Minimum of 5 years sales and customer service experience required.

· Knowledge of the flooring industry required.

Physical Requirements:

· Work will be conducted in a retail store environment.

Five-day work week. Monday through Friday with alternating Saturday hours.

Status: Salary and Commission

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
