About Us
Innovative Improvements is a family-owned remodeling and construction company specializing in high-quality remodels, historic home restorations, and modern design solutions. We pride ourselves on integrity, craftsmanship, and going above and beyond for our clients. If you have an interest or already possess a passion for this industry, you may just LOVE this position.

Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Designer/Administrator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who is tech-savvy, reliable, and eager to grow with the company, not just work a job. Beyond administrative support, this position offers opportunities to be involved in design workflows and project planning. Knowledge of Pro Kitchen/2020 Design software is highly valued, as it ties directly into our kitchen and remodel design process. We are emphasizing experience in design, administrative duties are secondary. The perfect candidate will be able to wear several hats and assist wherever needed!

Responsibilities

  • Assist with project layouts, design proposals, or client presentations (using Pro Kitchen, 2020, or similar software).
  • Assist with digital tools, apps, and platforms used for project management and communication.
  • Provide administrative support for day-to-day business operations.
  • Daily data entry, scheduling and product ordering and tracking.
  • Manage scheduling, emails, client communications, and project documentation.
  • Support the leadership team with organization, reporting, and follow-up tasks.
  • Help streamline systems and processes to improve efficiency.
  • Contribute creative input on design and presentation where applicable.
  • Occasionally assist with marketing, social media, or client-facing materials.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Pro Kitchen or 2020 Design software.
  • Strong computer skills; comfortable learning new software and apps.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Trustworthy, reliable, and self-motivated with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Interest in design and remodeling is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior administrative experience preferred, but we value attitude and growth potential above all.
  • Pay will reflect experience and value you bring to our team! We can discuss further upon interview.

Flexibility & Growth
We understand life can be busy, whether that means school or other commitments—and are willing to work around the right candidate’s schedule. At the same time, there is plenty of work and ongoing projects to keep the right person busy full-time if desired. This is an opportunity to grow into a long-term, impactful role and add to life’s skill set.

Why Join Us

  • Opportunity to grow with a trusted, family-owned company.
  • Be part of a team that values integrity, craftsmanship, and creativity.
  • Gain exposure to both the business and design sides of remodeling.
  • Room to expand your role and responsibilities as the company grows.
  • Work in a supportive environment where your ideas and input matter.
