Position Summary:

Liliput Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented, creative, and proactive Designer/Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This hybrid role plays a vital part in bridging the gap between design and construction—supporting both the conceptual development of landscape projects and their successful execution in the field. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable producing high-quality landscape plans and renderings, coordinating materials and vendors, and assisting with project management tasks. This is a collaborative position that requires strong design sensibility, technical proficiency, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed landscape construction drawings, including planting, hardscape, irrigation, and lighting plans
  • Translate conceptual designs into technical CAD documents for permitting and construction
  • Collaborate with designers, project managers, and field teams to ensure design intent is maintained throughout execution
  • Maintain drawing standards and ensure compliance with local codes and industry best practices
  • Assist in updating and revising plans based on field conditions and client feedback
  • Produce renderings and visual presentations for client review
  • Coordinate materials, vendors, and schedules to support project execution
  • Assist project managers with timelines, budgets, and client communications

Required Skills & Software Proficiency:

  • AutoCAD
  • Rhino or SketchUp
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with planting design, irrigation systems, and lighting construction documentation
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Experience in high-end residential or commercial landscape design is a plus

Position Range:

$60,000 - $85,000
