Design/Sales Consultant

Tile and Designs, Inc is a tile, stone, and wood retailer located in Pittsburgh's Shadyside neighborhood. For over 40 years, we have successfully provided design solutions to customers, designers, architects, and contractors. We are seeking to fill an inside sales position of hard surface materials with a creative and organized professional who shares our passion for design and exceptional customer service.

Show room hours of operation are 9-5 Monday-Friday and 10-5 Saturday.

Qualifications:

Self-motivated

Detail oriented

Professionalism and tact in all forms of communication: texting, email, and phone interactions

Experience selling to a sophisticated client base

Strong math skills

Solid computer skills including AutoCAD or SketchUp

Ability to resource information independently

2 years professional design experience; home/bath/kitchen preferred but we are willing to train a motivated recent graduate of Interior Design or Architecture

Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or equivalent work experience
