Responsibilities
On-Site Deskside Support - Job Description

Install and configure PC operating systems and standard applications.

Prepare and configure client computers and related devices (hardware and software) prior to deployment.

Upgrade existing desktops with new system images and operating systems provided by the customer.

Deliver and install IT assets as required.

Install new releases and updates of supported software on end-user computers.
-
Initialize and set up computers as needed during installations, migrations, or upgrades.
-
Verify full desktop functionality after installation, migration, or upgrade.

Provide technical assistance during installations, conversions, or upgrades as requested.

Provide parts and labor for service and repairs on computers and related devices, including both in‑warranty and out‑of‑warranty equipment.

Perform IMAC (Install/Move/Add/Change) services for desktops, laptops, and related peripherals.

Maintain accurate asset and parts inventory.

Provide hardware and software technical support for computers and related attachable devices for issues routed from the Helpdesk.

Decommission, dispose of, and relocate IT assets as needed.
