The Desktop Analyst I will serve as a point of contact for technical issues for staff and campuses across the district.
Essential Functions:

Handles Tier I and II tickets and escalates as required based on area of responsibility.

Answers/resolves incoming phone calls from users.

Responds to password resets, application, and printer issues.

Maintains master computer images/updates and builds as necessary.

Maintains technical inventory.

Processes computer warranty/support issues.

Microsoft Exchange/Office 365 administration.

Diagnose and resolve nonrecurring issues with application software and operating system; determine root cause of issue down to registry level.

Create and document alternative methods of completing tasks while correcting system inconsistencies to improve the department functionality.

Maintain inventory of installed software, manage licenses and follow/create policies and procedures for software upgrades.

Ensure computers interconnect seamlessly with the network, including validation of file, email, application and administrative servers.

Knowledge of scripting methodology to install desktop applications and environment settings.

Install and terminate Ethernet cabling in accordance with industry standards.

Collaborate with team members to document technical issues and submit revisions to policies and procedures.

Configure, maintain, and modify Windows 10 environment.

High school diploma (or recognized equivalent), required

Minimum (3) three years’ experience diagnosing software, hardware, and network problems

Microsoft Certification preferred

Experience in an educational environment preferred.

Must have satisfactory outcome of fingerprinting check prior to starting employment. Non-refundable fee paid by employee.
This position will follow a 236 day academic calendar.
