Job Summary
The Desktop Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical assistance to end-users, diagnosing and resolving hardware/software issues, and ensuring smooth functioning of all IT systems. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, customer-centric communication, and the ability to manage multiple technical tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level and second-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and network devices.
- Troubleshoot OS issues (Windows/Mac), software applications, network connectivity, and peripheral devices.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, hardware components, and standard company applications.
- Manage user accounts, emails, and access rights using tools like Active Directory, Office 365, etc.
- Ensure timely resolution of IT tickets through the ticketing system with proper documentation.
- Set up and configure new systems for onboarding employees.
- Perform routine system checks, updates, and preventive maintenance.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and replacements.
- Maintain inventory of IT hardware, software licenses, and assets.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, security guidelines, and data protection protocols.
- Support meeting room setups, video conferencing systems, and network equipment when required.
- Provide on-site support at different locations as needed.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
