Job Title: System/Desktop Support Engineer

Qualification Required: Graduate in any stream / BCA
Experience Required:
- Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Desktop Support Engineer
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in Network Support
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide support for Basic Networking, Windows Desktop Troubleshooting, and Hardware Issues.
- Attend user-level IT support calls and follow up through the IT ticketing portal.
- Resolve basic user-level issues related to: Microsoft Windows, MS Office 365
- Wired & Wireless Network Connectivity
- Install and configure various Operating Systems including: Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, Windows 11
- Prepare and configure new desktops and laptops with standard applications.
- Update desktops, laptops, and servers with the latest Windows OS patches.
- Monitor hardware performance and identify components for replacement or upgrade.
- Perform preventive maintenance of IT hardware periodically.
- Provide troubleshooting support for server and desktop application-level issues.
- Maintain basic working knowledge of: Active Directory (AD), DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP Networking, File & Print Servers, Basic networking knowledge of:, Switches, Routers, OSI Model.
- Coordinate with OEMs/Vendors for hardware and software support of Desktops, Laptops, and Servers.
- Troubleshoot network and desktop-related issues.
- Configure and manage wireless devices.
- Ensure all systems are updated with the latest antivirus patches.
- Perform Network Rack Panel punching and dressing (Patch Paneling).
- Troubleshoot laptop/desktop hardware and software issues.
- Manage software and hardware inventory (Asset Management).
- Install and troubleshoot email clients such as: MS Outlook, Thunderbird, Configure MS Office 365 Clients
- Install and configure local and network printers or scanners.
- Provide end-user support both physically and remotely.
- Be available for emergency support beyond regular working hours if required.
- Prepare daily call logs and support reports.
- Suggest and implement improvements in IT support services to add value to the team and organization.
