Detail Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mobile Automotive Detailer to join our team. This position requires advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with ceramic coatings, paint protection film (PPF), color-change vinyl wrapping, and full-service detailing (interior & exterior). The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, has an eye for detail, and provides an excellent customer experience while working independently on-site at client locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality interior and exterior detailing services (deep cleaning, paint correction, polishing, etc.)
• Apply ceramic coatings with precision for long-term vehicle protection
• Install paint protection film (PPF) with accuracy, ensuring a seamless finish
• Apply color-change and specialty vinyl wraps with professional installation techniques
• Maintain professional mobile detailing setup, tools, and products
• Educate customers on services, aftercare, and maintenance of their vehicles
• Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring client satisfaction at every appointment
• Follow safety procedures and uphold company quality standards

Qualifications

• Proven professional experience in auto detailing, ceramic coating, PPF, and vinyl wrapping
• Strong knowledge of paint correction, surface prep, and protection applications
• Ability to work independently and manage mobile detailing appointments efficiently
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and customer service abilities
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Physical ability to perform detailing tasks (standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs.)

Preferred Skills (Not Required but a Plus):

• Certification or training in ceramic coatings, PPF, or vinyl wrapping
• Sales or upselling experience in the automotive industry
• Experience with luxury, exotic, or high-performance vehicles
