Detox Patient Transport Specialist/ BHT -Los Angeles, CA

Legacy Healing in Los Angeles, CA is searching for the most qualified, hard working, responsible, compassionate, energetic, team member in the world to provide outstanding care and support to our clients. We are looking for someone who has experience working in substance abuse.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is REQUIRED.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

• Transport clients and/or packages to and from destinations
• Arrive at destinations on schedule
• Fulfill administrative needs, like office pickups
• Research and plan for traffic, construction and weather delays
• Use navigation applications to determine the best route
• Interact with clients professionally at all times
• Ensure that the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use
• Arrange for vehicle repairs as needed
• Keep mileage records and repair records up-to-date
• Work daily with patients to provide support, encouragement, and guidance.
• Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism with clients and staff at all times.
• Document client information as appropriate
• Assist in emergency situations as directed
• Ensure clients attend scheduled groups and activities
• Understand and maintain confidentiality of client information and records
• Recognize crisis situations and provide appropriate interventions based on training and experience
• The position requires walking and standing for periods of times
