  • Execute manufacturer-compliant repairs with strong attention to safety, detail, and final appearance.
  • Leverage Serdia, Serpic, and Fieldaware; complete accurate work orders and time sheets; consult the DEUTZ Service ticket system for approvals.
  • Maintain a clean, safe shop presence and a DOT-compliant, clean service truck that represents DEUTZ well.
  • Assist with warranty claims and customer invoices; follow all company policies (including travel and credit card use).
  • Communicate clearly, respectfully, and honestly with customers and teammates; perform other related duties as assigned.

What you bring

  • Training/certifications in heavy equipment and diesel engine repair preferred.
  • Advanced familiarity with DEUTZ diesel engines.
  • Fluency with Serdia, Serpic, Fieldaware, and Microsoft Word/Excel.
  • Own toolbox; key DEUTZ tools supplied.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Skills that elevate your performance

  • Comfort interpreting safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedures; writing concise reports; speaking effectively to customers or groups.
  • Competence with arithmetic (whole numbers, fractions, decimals), calculating rate/ratio/percent, and interpreting bar graphs.
  • Resourceful problem-solving with limited standardization; interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Working conditions

Shop and field environments with frequent standing and walking; potential exposure to weather and loud noise.

Supervisory responsibilities: N/A
