About the Role
We are looking for a passionate Developer Advocate to join our team. You will be the bridge between Milvus and the developer community, helping users understand, adopt, and succeed with our vector database technology. Your work will focus on educating the community about RAG development, Milvus features, core vector database concepts such as index algorithms, and providing hands-on guidance for developers to get started effectively.
What You'll Do
- Product Education & Community Engagement
- Create educational content, including social posts, blogs, notebooks, video tutorials
- Explain complex database and vector search concepts for a broad developer audience.
- Developer Enablement
- Partner with engineering and product teams to create high-quality developer content for Milvus.
- Build demos, sample projects, and “Get Started” guides to accelerate developer adoption.
- Optionally run webinars, and meetups to share new Milvus features.
What We're Looking For
- Strong technical background, preferably with a degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous engineering experience, such as Data Engineer, Database Backend Engineer, AI Engineer, or similar roles.
- Hands-on experience with RAG or agent development, vector databases, or data infrastructure technologies is highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of AI use cases, LLM applications, or data-driven applications.
- Strong technical communication skills with a proven track record of creating tutorials, sample projects, and other developer-focused content.
- Comfortable engaging with global developer communities through content.
