The Development Coordinator, Events, will significantly contribute to the success of PragerU's gala and regional events by ensuring the right people are in the room for each of our unique events. This includes working with gift officers to secure anchor donors and host committees, building the right guest list, helping to prepare attendees for key giving opportunities, coordinating pre-pledges and matching commitments, and ensuring all post-event pledges are followed up on promptly and effectively.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a master calendar outlining all pre- and post-event processes for gift officers for each gala and regional event.
  • Lead monthly anchor donor meetings and ensure all action items and next steps move forward on schedule.
  • Track and update confirmed anchor donors and event host committee members.
  • Build targeted invitation lists using PragerU's CRM and host-provided contacts.
  • Ensure gift officers have the information and materials needed to properly prepare their donors for event-night giving opportunities.
  • Communicate upcoming opportunities for leadership to meet with key donors surrounding events.
  • Define criteria for donor call lists and ensure call tasks are entered accurately into the CRM.
  • Prompt gift officers to secure event matchers and pre-paddle raisers in a timely manner.
  • Monitor pledge follow-up activity and remind gift officers to complete pledge reminder calls, send emails, and ensure all pledges are collected.

Successful Candidates Will Possess:

  • 3–5+ years professional experience, preferably in fundraising, sales, donor relations, or event management
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Experience coordinating with gift officers or sales teams, leadership, and external partners
  • Proficiency with CRM systems to manage donor lists and follow-up tasks
  • Excellent communication and meeting coordination skills
  • High attention to detail and strong follow-through
  • Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment

Salary Range: The salary target for this role is $65,000 - $75,000+. Final offer amounts depend on multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and most recent market data. This position is eligible for an annual bonus based on personal and company performance, in addition to our robust benefits package.
