Device Support Specialist

Summary:

Bishop Alemany High School is a Catholic College Prep high school located in the San Fernando Valley. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage inventory and asset tracking for student and staff iPads and accessories.
• Configure, deploy, collect, and maintain school devices.
• Support the school’s Mobile Device Management (MDM) platform (experience with Workspace ONE preferred).
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on iPads and Apple devices.
• Provide loaner devices and escalate complex issues to the Director of Applied Technology when necessary.
• Perform device updates, maintenance, and lifecycle management.
• Maintain accurate asset records in the inventory system.
• Create simple instructional materials or guides to help users effectively use their devices.

Requirements

Requirements/Education and Qualifications:

• B.A. in related field is preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience supporting Apple devices (macOS and iOS).
• Administrator experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) systems preferred.
• Knowledge of device deployment, asset tracking, and technical troubleshooting.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift equipment up to 30 lbs.

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
