Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Azure DevOps Consultant for a hourly hybrid role with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and automation processes. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with development and operations teams to ensure high availability, scalability, and security of applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools
- Deploy, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep
- Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or similar tools
- Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS)
- Ensure security best practices, including identity management, secrets handling, and compliance
- Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, and performance issues
- Collaborate with development teams to improve build, release, and deployment processes
- Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and configurations
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS)
- Hands-on experience with Terraform / ARM / Bicep
- Knowledge of Linux administration and scripting (Bash, PowerShell)
- Understanding of networking concepts, security groups, load balancers, and firewalls
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools
