Devops Azure Consultant

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Azure DevOps Consultant for a hourly hybrid role with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and automation processes. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with development and operations teams to ensure high availability, scalability, and security of applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools
• Deploy, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep
• Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or similar tools
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS)
• Ensure security best practices, including identity management, secrets handling, and compliance
• Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, and performance issues
• Collaborate with development teams to improve build, release, and deployment processes
• Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and configurations

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS)
• Hands-on experience with Terraform / ARM / Bicep
• Knowledge of Linux administration and scripting (Bash, PowerShell)
• Understanding of networking concepts, security groups, load balancers, and firewalls
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools
