Role Overview

As a DevOps Engineer at Mahad, you will be responsible for building, automating, and maintaining the cloud and on-premises infrastructure that powers our recruitment platforms, resume builders, AI integrations, and ERP systems. You’ll work closely with our developers, backend engineers, and AI specialists to ensure high availability, security, and scalability across multiple geographies (Qatar, UAE, India, Africa).

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and wants to shape AI-driven recruitment technology at a global scale.

Key Responsibilities

Manage infrastructure across Hetzner & AWS (VPS, dedicated servers, CloudLinux, AlmaLinux, Ubuntu).

Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).

Automate deployments for Django Node.js (Express), .NET, Angular, React apps.

Oversee PostgreSQL clusters, backups, replication, and performance tuning.

Set up and manage Kafka for real-time data pipelines powering recruitment workflows.

Containerize applications with Docker/Kubernetes for scalable deployments.

Implement server monitoring, alerting, and logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).

Enhance security & compliance (SSL, firewalls, IAM, GDPR).

Support AI/ML integrations (OpenAI APIs, resume parsing, ATS workflows).

Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure seamless infra support for new product launches.

Required Skills

3+ years in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.

Strong in Linux server administration (CloudLinux, AlmaLinux, Ubuntu).

Experience with Hetzner & AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, Lambda).

Hands-on with CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).

Proficient in Node.js (Express), .NET, Angular, React deployments.

Solid skills in PostgreSQL (tuning, high availability, replication).

Kafka or equivalent event streaming experience.

Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible.

Strong security-first mindset (IAM, SSL, firewalls, monitoring).

Bonus: Experience in AI/ML API integrations (OpenAI, Affinda, Grammarly).
