Job Description – DevOps EngineerAbout the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in CI/CD, cloud platforms, Kubernetes, infrastructure automation, observability, and microservices deployment. You will collaborate closely with development, cloud, and SRE teams to build secure, automated, and scalable infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities1. CI/CD & Version Control

• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

• Manage branching strategies, releases, and automated workflows.

• Implement test automation, quality gates, and environment promotion.

2. Cloud Platforms

• Manage deployments on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Work with cloud-native services such as EC2, EKS, IAM, VPC, ACR, AKS, GCR, and GKE.

3. Containerization & Orchestration

• Work with Docker and container registries (ECR, ACR, GCR).

• Deploy and manage Kubernetes workloads (AKS, EKS, GKE).

• Manage K8s provisioning using Terraform, CLI tools, and Helm.

4. Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Implement and manage Terraform modules, workspaces, and cloud provisioning.

• Automate configuration using Ansible playbooks and roles.

5. Observability & Monitoring

• Setup Prometheus and Grafana dashboards.

• Configure OpenSearch/ElasticSearch logging.

• Implement distributed tracing with Jaeger, Zipkin, or OpenTelemetry.

6. Networking, Security & Service Mesh

• Work with Istio, Consul, or Linkerd for service mesh operations.

• Secure workloads with mTLS, network policies, and IAM.

• Implement secrets management and image scanning.

7. Microservices Deployment

• Deploy microservices with blue/green, canary, and rolling strategies.

• Manage distributed systems and service discovery.

8. Automation & Scripting

• Automate infrastructure tasks using Bash, Python, or Go.

9. OS & System Administration

• Strong Linux knowledge including systemd, networking, logs, and performance tuning.

Required Skills

• 3–8 years DevOps experience

• CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes (AKS/EKS/GKE)

• Terraform, Ansible

• Prometheus, Grafana

• OpenSearch/ElasticSearch

• Distributed Tracing (OpenTelemetry/Jaeger)

• Istio/Consul service mesh

• Cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP)

• GitOps (ArgoCD, FluxCD)

• Cost optimization

• Kafka/RabbitMQ/Redis

• SRE best practices

• Container runtime knowledge (Docker, containerd, runc)
