We're seeking a strong and creative DevOps bamboo (Atlassian Suite) eager to solve challenging problems of scale and work on cutting edge technologies. In this project, you will have the opportunity to write code that will impact thousands of users every month. In this new adventure, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a world-class team in the field of Insurance by building a holistic solution, interacting with multidisciplinary teams.
This project is to upgrade and modernise a Visual Basic/SQL DB application and 2 Lotus Notes applications (all are 25 year old applications and involves migration of 50+ million records of data with zero data loss out of LN) into modern digital cloud and hybrid microservices based applications running on native Kubernetes container platform.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to automate the build, test, and deployment of applications.
Create and manage Ansible playbooks and roles to provision and configure infrastructure, ensuring consistent and repeatable deployments. (Well-versed in writing playbook to configure apps on Linux & Wintel both env)
Work with development teams to integrate CI/CD best practices into their workflows and improve overall development efficiency.
Implement and manage infrastructure as code principles to automate environment setup on AWS.
Skills
Must have
5+ years of experience in a DevOps role.
Proven expertise in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
Extensive experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation.
Solid understanding of the AWS ecosystem (EC2, S3 etc.) and experience with deploying applications on AWS.
Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
