DevOps Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with 2-4 Years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure DevOps pipelines and infrastructure. You will work closely with development, QA, and IT teams to automate and streamline operations, improve system reliability, and support continuous integration and delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• CI/CD Pipelines:
• Develop and manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Configuration Management:
• Use tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef to manage infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Implement and manage containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Monitoring & Logging:
• Implement robust monitoring solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or CloudWatch.
• Logging and monitoring tools such as prometheus grafana and elk stack in this section
• Set up automated alerts and dashboards to track system health and performance.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with development and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery of software products.
• Provide guidance on best practices for DevOps processes and tools.
• Security & Compliance:
• Ensure systems are secure and meet compliance requirements.
• Automate security testing and implement DevSecOps practices.
• Troubleshooting & Support:
• Investigate and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and production environments.
• Provide on-call support when necessary to ensure uptime and performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise:
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Ruby).
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
• Tools & Frameworks:
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI).
• Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Soft Skills:
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of database management and optimization.
• Understanding of network protocols and security.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.

Experience:

• 2-4 years of experience in a DevOps or similar role
