Job Duties And Responsibilities

Designing, building, and operating cloud-native infrastructure on
GCP
, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency

Architecting and managing
Kubernetes
(GKE) platforms, including cluster lifecycle, networking, security, and observability
-
Implementing and maintaining
GitOps
workflows using Flux for declarative, auditable infrastructure and application deployments
-
Provisioning and managing cloud resources using
Crossplane
to enable Kubernetes-native infrastructure management
-
Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to support application and infrastructure delivery
-
Developing and supporting DevOps tooling and practices, including automation, environment standardization, and deployment strategies
-
Partnering with application teams to ensure workloads are secure, performant, and production-ready
-
Monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving infrastructure and platform issues in production
-
Improving observability, reliability, and performance across cloud and Kubernetes environments
-
Contributing to incident response, on-call rotations, and postmortems
-
Mentoring engineers and promoting cloud, Kubernetes, and DevOps best practices
-
Creating and maintaining Google Cloud Build CI pipelines across multiple environments
What we would like to see in you
-
5+ years of experience in cloud, infrastructure, or DevOps engineering
-
Strong hands-on experience with
Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
in production
-
Deep experience operating
Kubernetes (GKE)
, including networking, security, and scaling
-
Experience implementing
GitOps
workflows (Flux preferred)

Experience with infrastructure provisioning via
Crossplane
or similar tools

Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins

Solid foundation in DevOps practices, automation, and infrastructure-as-code
-
Experience supporting production systems, including incident response and on-call
Nice to Have

Experience with cloud and Kubernetes security, including
IAM and service accounts

Experience operating observability stacks
(Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)

Experience with PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases, including performance tuning

Knowledge of container optimization, OS tuning, and scaling strategies

Experience with capacity planning or cloud cost optimization
