DevOps Engineer

Job Summary:

McCoin Virtual Assets LLC is seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled DevOps Engineer to support the deployment, automation, security, and operational stability of the company’s infrastructure and applications within a regulated fintech and virtual assets environment. 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, system monitoring, deployment automation, and operational reliability while ensuring alignment with cybersecurity, compliance, and business continuity requirements. 

The role requires strong collaboration with software developers, cybersecurity personnel, infrastructure teams, and external service providers to ensure scalable and secure technology operations. 

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure & Cloud Management 

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain secure cloud and on-premises infrastructure environments. 
• Manage servers, containers, virtual machines, and cloud resources across development, staging, and production environments. 
• Ensure infrastructure scalability, reliability, availability, and performance optimization. 

CI/CD & Automation 

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and release management. 
• Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices using automation tools and scripting. 
• Automate deployment, testing, monitoring, and operational workflows. 

System Monitoring & Reliability 

• Monitor application health, server performance, uptime, and infrastructure security. 
• Troubleshoot system issues, outages, and deployment failures in a timely manner. 
• Maintain logging, alerting, and monitoring solutions for proactive incident response. 

Security & Compliance 

• Work closely with the Information Security and Compliance teams to implement secure deployment practices. 
• Ensure environments comply with internal security policies, ISO 27001 standards, and applicable regulatory requirements including VARA guidelines. 
• Assist in vulnerability remediation, patch management, and access control implementation. 

Collaboration & Support 

• Collaborate with developers to streamline development and deployment processes. 
• Support application environments including APIs, backend services, blockchain integrations, and internal tools. 
• Coordinate with external vendors, hosting providers, and technology partners when required. 

Documentation & Reporting 

• Maintain technical documentation related to infrastructure, deployment processes, and operational procedures. 
• Prepare operational reports, incident reports, and system maintenance records as required. 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field preferred. 
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, System Administration, or related technical roles. 
• Experience in fintech, cryptocurrency, virtual assets, banking, or regulated environments is highly preferred. 
• Experience working within regulated financial environments. 
• Exposure to ISO 27001 frameworks and cybersecurity best practices. 
• Familiarity with disaster recovery and business continuity planning. 
• Relevant certifications such as AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Linux, or DevOps certifications are advantageous. 

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix server administration. 
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. 
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, containerization, and orchestration technologies. 
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or similar. 
• Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell. 
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools. 
• Familiarity with networking, firewalls, VPNs, and infrastructure security. 
• Understanding of blockchain infrastructure and Web3 environments is an advantage.

• Working Hours: Mondays to Fridays from 9AM to 5PM
