DevOps Engineer (Mid-Level)

Role Overview

We are hiring a mid-level DevOps Engineer who already understands production environments and can independently handle deployments, automation, and basic infrastructure management. This is not a trainee role , you should be comfortable working with real systems, breaking things occasionally, and fixing them fast.

You don’t need to know everything, but you must know the fundamentals well and be willing to learn aggressively.

Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for staging and production
Deploy and manage applications using Docker and assist with Kubernetes workloads
Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS / GCP / Azure under senior guidance
Automate repetitive operational tasks using shell scripts or basic Python
Monitor system health, logs, and alerts; respond to incidents when required
Assist in infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or similar IaC tools
Support application releases, rollbacks, and environment consistency
Collaborate with developers to improve build, deployment, and runtime reliability
Follow security best practices for access control, secrets, and backups

Required Skills & Experience
1–3 years of hands-on DevOps or SRE experience
Comfortable working with Linux systems
Working knowledge of Docker (build, run, troubleshoot containers)
Basic understanding of Kubernetes (pods, services, deployments)
Experience with at least one CI/CD tool (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
Understanding of networking basics (ports, DNS, load balancers)
Ability to debug deployment and runtime issues
