DevOps Engineer (Remote)

Position Overview: Confinality is looking for a DevOps Engineer with around 1–2 years of hands-on experience to support and maintain our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have practical exposure to CI/CD pipelines, cloud services, and basic infrastructure automation, and be eager to grow in a fast-paced AI startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for application deployments
• Work with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure to manage and support cloud infrastructure
• Support deployment and maintenance of applications on VMs and Kubernetes (basic level)
• Configure and manage basic load balancing and networking components
• Experience working with SIP servers and understanding of SIP/RTP signaling and media flow is highly desirable.
• Collaborate with software engineers to ensure smooth deployments across environments
• Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and escalate complex problems when needed
• Write and maintain automation scripts using Bash or Python
• Maintain documentation for infrastructure and deployment processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in DevOps / Cloud / Infrastructure role
• Hands-on experience with GCP or Azure (both preferred, one mandatory)
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, etc.)
• Familiarity with Docker and basic Kubernetes concepts
• Understanding of cloud networking, IAM, and security fundamentals
• Scripting knowledge in Bash or Python
• Willingness to learn advanced DevOps, scalability, and automation
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a remote team
