Key Responsibilities -
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): You'll use tools like Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager to define and manage GCP resources (e.g., Google Kubernetes Engine clusters, Cloud Storage, BigQuery) in a repeatable and automated way.
- CI/CD for ML (MLOps): You are responsible for creating and managing automated pipelines using services like Cloud Build, Vertex AI Pipelines, and Artifact Registry. This involves automating model training, testing, validation, and deployment processes.
- Containerization & Orchestration: You will containerize AI/ML applications using Docker and orchestrate them at scale using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE). This ensures that models and their dependencies are portable and run consistently across different environments.
- Monitoring & Logging: You'll implement robust monitoring and logging solutions using Google Cloud's operations suite (formerly Stackdriver) to track model performance, resource utilization, and system health, setting up alerts to proactively address issues.
- Security & Compliance: You will be tasked with implementing security best practices within the GCP environment, managing access control with IAM (Identity and Access Management), and ensuring the infrastructure complies with data governance and privacy regulations.
- Collaboration: You'll work closely with data scientists, ML engineers, and software developers to understand their needs and provide a stable, efficient platform for their AI projects.
