Dewa approved electrical engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and DEWA-approved Electrical Engineer with 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in the UAE. The ideal candidate must possess in-depth knowledge of DEWA procedures, application portals, and standards for execution and compliance of electrical works.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and handle all DEWA-related application processes through the DEWA online portal.
• Coordinate with DEWA for obtaining approvals related to load schedules, shop drawings, single-line diagrams, and inspection requests.
• Ensure compliance with DEWA regulations and standards in all stages of electrical work execution.
• Follow up diligently on submitted applications, modifications, and inspections with DEWA officials to ensure timely approvals.
• Supervise the execution of electrical works at project sites, ensuring adherence to approved designs and DEWA guidelines.
• Prepare and review electrical designs, load calculations, and panel schedules in accordance with DEWA requirements.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and subcontractors.
• Attend DEWA site inspections and liaise with consultants and clients for smooth project execution.
• Maintain accurate documentation for all DEWA correspondences, approvals, and compliance records.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (accredited university).
• Must be DEWA approved as an Electrical Engineer.
• 5 to 8 years of proven UAE experience, particularly with DEWA project handling.
• Strong understanding of DEWA standards, procedures, and electrical codes.
• Proficiency in using DEWA’s online portal and understanding of all submission requirements.
• Familiarity with UAE electrical execution practices, load calculations, and site inspection protocols.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict timelines.

Preferred Skills:

• UAE Driving License
• Experience with other utility authorities (e.g., Etihad Water & Electricity, ADDC) is a plus.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and electrical design software.
