Dewatering Technician

Dewatering Technician will be responsible for installing, operating, monitoring, and maintaining dewatering systems used at construction, excavation, tunneling, and infrastructure project sites to control groundwater and keep work areas dry and safe.

Job Role & Responsibilities

• Install, operate, and maintain dewatering pumps, pipelines, wellpoints, and related equipment.
• Monitor groundwater levels and ensure effective water removal from excavation sites.
• Conduct routine inspection and preventive maintenance of pumps, generators, hoses, and fittings.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and perform basic mechanical repairs.
• Ensure continuous operation of dewatering systems to avoid flooding or project delays.
• Record daily pump readings, fuel usage, maintenance activities, and site reports.
• Coordinate with site engineers and supervisors regarding dewatering activities and site requirements.
• Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with site HSE regulations.
• Assist in installation and dismantling of dewatering systems at project locations.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of tools and equipment.

Pay: AED1,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
