BASIC FUNCTION
This position is responsible for externship approval, monitoring student externship performance, and providing students with technical support during the externship.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
“*” Denotes essential function
A. * Develop, coordinate, assign and assist with externship.
B. *Approve new externship sites and complete Site Approval document.
C. *Monitor students throughout externship by making at least one site visit during quarter.
D. *Maintain relationships with externship sites.
E. *Serves as the liaison between the student and the externship site.
F. *Collaborates with Career Services to manage the externship experience.
G. *Implement and adhere to all schools policies and regulations.
H. *Provide tutoring and informal advising to students as needed.
I. *Advise the academic administrator on student attendance/academic
J. *Attend faculty meetings, in-service training sessions, and instructional
meetings as required.
K. Collaborate with Career Services related to externship procedures.
L. *Serve as a professional role model for students, and other duties as may
be assigned.
M. Performs other duties as assigned by executive leadership.

EDUCATION, Experience and TRAINING
A. Maintain current registration/certification from nationally recognized sonography credentialing agency.
B. Three to five years of professional work experience.
C. Intermediate computer skills, i.e., Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

Pay: $70,000.00 per year
